St. Peter’s Basilica is an active church and may be closed unexpectedly for liturgical ceremonies or unforeseen circumstances. If closed, the time spent inside the Vatican Museums will be extended;
Some halls and galleries of the Vatican Museums may be closed for restoration or other unforeseen reasons. In such cases, the itinerary will be adjusted accordingly;
The entry tickets to the Vatican Museums are named. Full names and birth dates of all participants must be provided at the time of booking. Once purchased the entry tickets can not be modified nor refunded;
Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking in order to enter the Vatican Museums;
The entry tickets are timed. Vatican staff are strict with entry slots and do not allow latecomers. No refund will be given in case of delays;
Entry to the Vatican is permitted only to appropriately dressed visitors. Low cut or sleeveless clothing, shorts, miniskirts and hats are not allowed. Large bags, umbrellas and other items are not allowed;
